Lua Workshop is a limited-run apparel manufacturing and tailoring workshop based in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam, working with designers, independent labels, and business partners who need a flexible production partner for their clothing collections.

Founded by two sisters from Lăng Cô, a fishing village near Đà Nẵng, Lua has grown organically from its roots in local tailoring into a business producing made-to-order and ready-to-wear garments. Today, we work with the capabilities of a boutique workshop: personal attention, skilled hands, in-house quality control, and the flexibility to accommodate small and mid-sized production runs.

A Workshop for Designers and Independent Brands

Not every designer or apparel business needs a large factory. For emerging labels, independent designers, and established businesses developing smaller collections or needing custom sizes, finding a suitable production partner can be extremely difficult. Large manufacturers may be oriented toward volumes that are impractical for smaller businesses, while working with individual makers can make consistency and coordination more challenging as a collection grows. Lua Workshop is positioned to serve this middle ground.

We specialize in small- to mid-sized production runs, with an emphasis on flexibility, attention to detail, custom sizing, and the practical collaboration needed to bring a clothing design into production. We can work from designs supplied by our partners or contribute creative input to the development of a garment.

Our work encompasses made-to-order and ready-to-wear apparel. We have produced thousands of garments, with a special focus on natural materials, and our experience has developed through actual production, customer feedback, and the continuing refinement of our processes.

Lua’s roots are in the tailoring community of Central Vietnam, and we have practical experience with the requirements of contemporary apparel production for locals and tourists. Manufacturing and quality control are handled in-house, allowing us to maintain oversight of the work and consistency throughout the production process. We believe that a smaller workshop offers advantages that extend beyond production volume: closer communication, greater flexibility, and more direct attention to the details that matter to a designer.
